His specialist experience encompasses all aspects of tax planning for small and medium sized businesses, in particular those active in the Pharmaceutical and Medical areas.
During his more than 20 years working in the UK and European markets, Guru was heavily involved in many significant aspects of business, for example in venture capital raising, mergers and acquisitions.
Whilst with Ernst and Young in The Netherlands, Guru’s primary responsibilities included compliance work and tax planning for European and Scandinavian client base.
Since returning to Australia over 12 years ago, Guru’s international experience has been invaluable for many of HR’s clients and his unique skillset is now much in demand from firms operating in key vertical markets throughout the APAC region.
Happily married with three children Guru is an avid sports supporter and a keen hockey enthusiast. He also enjoys taking overseas holidays with his family as often as possible.
Evan holds a Bachelor of Business and Accounting. He is a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants and a CPA Associate Member.
With over 20 year’s industry experience, Evan has worked with a diverse range of clients including individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts. Evan is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements. He specialises in Business Tax Compliance.
Happily married with two children, Evan is an avid sports fan and passionate Essendon and Melbourne Victory supporter.
